Review – Gigi Hadid Endorsed Maybelline “The Falsies Push Up Drama” Mascara

Hi all,

It seems these days you can’t walk into any Walmart or drugstore without seeing Maybelline’s newest The Falsies Push Up Drama mascara as the main display. The face of this mascara Gigi Hadid and Maybelline alike have majorly endorsed it, even featuring it on Gigi’s personal Instagram.

So, naturally as a die-hard mascara enthusiast on the hunt for new lash luster, I was very excited to try this. Check out what I thought of Maybelline’s latest and greatest:

  • Very black
  • Very few crumbs/fallouts
  • Easy to access tricky corner lashes

  • Extremely clumpy
  • Not great for lengthening
  • Not great for curling

Overall, I didn’t love this mascara. It is extremely difficult to use if you put on anymore than the tiniest bit – it gets majorly clumpy. I used a dry spoolie to separate my lashes while mascara was still wet which worked okay, however without it my lashes would have been a chunky mess.

I am used to Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express mascara which gives incredible length. This is mascara was on the lower end of lengthening capability, doing poorly compared to other mascaras.

Not great length, very clumpy

I liked adding this mascara over top my usual Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express mascara to give that incredible black pigment. However this mascara is so clumpy, it would be embarrassing to use by itself.

I would not recommend unless you just want to use over top of your usual mascara for a blacker colour.

Happy primping 🙂
